An in depth Face Reading by a Master Face Reader analyzes features of your face to determine where your energies or emotions may be stuck or in what ways you may be not be living according to your path. Ancient Chinese facial maps are used to identify areas of disharmony in the body as well as traumatic physical and emotional events in one's life that have impacted a healthy energy flow. It is helpful guidance in identifying strengths, talents and personality traits to focus your journey of self discovery. 

What is Face Reading?

Face reading or physiognomy is an ancient Chinese method of using various aspects of the face to determine one's health status, what your personality is like, what your abilities and talents are, areas of stuck energy or emotions and even how one gets along with certain people.  In my practice I rely heavily on Chinese face reading to diagnose my patients.  Often on their initial visit they are surprised at how their medical problem is inquired about even before they disclose what disorder they have come to have treated.  Chinese facial reading is so accurate that one can determine the quadrant of the uterus an embryo has implanted in within a few weeks of pregnancy.

How can Face Reading help me?

To assess physical health:

Face reading is a practical option for health diagnostics.  It is especially useful to those with diseases of unknown etiology or mystery illnesses.  At the least, face reading will give clues as to which body system merits further testing and investigation.  Face reading is reliable for finding hormonal imbalances, metabolic disorders, origins of disease, immune system problems, digestive issues, assessing reproductive soundness and organ weaknesses among many other issues.  Face reading is beneficial in preventative care, where the weaknesses in a system can be discovered and addressed before diseases appear, sometimes even thwarting the illness.  I once had a patient that came in for a general health reading.  I saw some tooth and bone issues from certain characteristics of her face and when I inquired about any tooth or bone problems, she said that those issues had never been problematic for her.  Unfortunately, she called back two weeks later to report that two of her molars had broken and when the dentist investigated further it was due to a severe weakness in her jaw bone that resulted in not just replacing the broken teeth but also a series of surgeries to graft new bone into her jaw. 

To know yourself and others better

Another application of face reading is identifying personality traits. It is possible to identify unique preferences, defining attitudes, individual mannerisms, tendencies and personal characteristics.  Just a few of the many personality traits that might be gleaned from physiognomy are: introvert versus extrovert, one’s decision making methods, practicality versus emotionality, and talents such as being artistic, mechanically inclined or being a bibliophile.

To discover latent talents and abilities

In face reading it is also possible to discover talents that may be known as well as unknown.  Abilities passed down from previous generations or inherent to our family line that enhance life can be uncovered to encourage further growth in areas in which we may not realize we have gifts.  A face reading that readily exemplifies this was a woman whose talents according to her face seem to lay in two completely contrasting areas, mathematics and dance.  I inquired as to her involvement in either and she replied with astonishment and amusement that she is an accountant by day and is an avid ballroom dancer by night.

For understanding all types of relationships

Matchmaking and interpersonal relationships are other arenas in which face reading can be employed.  In ancient China face reading was a good tool in assessing a good marital match.  In modern days face reading can be used to trouble-shoot problems such as differing communication styles, expectations, as well as perspectives that may cause friction in a relationship.  For those that are single, advice about the most auspicious facial features to look for in a mate can be extrapolated from an analysis of your own face to pare down potential candidates.  In business applications face reading can bring light to possible areas of friction in workgroup dynamics and can provide valuable insight into the hiring or firing of employees.

For Emotional Healing

An additional application of face reading is to identify old emotional traumas.  Many imbalances and health issues are rooted in unprocessed or stuck emotional energy and childhood trauma.  Your facial features help indicate when the trauma occurred and the general emotion of that time. This may help add clarity to the origin of current mental, emotional or physical states thereby aiding in the resolution or remedy of those imbalances.

To identify your calling or purpose

Career counseling is a point of inquiry that face reading easily addresses. Different features on a face help determine one’s calling by identifying one’s strengths and weaknesses.  This can be used by those that are feeling unfulfilled in their work to sleuth out what options would be a more satisfying occupation. I had read a young man who had strong facial features for an engineer with notable but less profuse characteristics of a creative.  He disclosed that he had recently switched his art major to engineering because although he enjoyed art, the problem-solving aspect of engineering fascinated him more.

To prepare and optimize your life for the future

Finally, forecasting the decades of our lives to come and interpreting years that have passed is possible with face reading.   Evaluating certain ages, poignant aspects of our past that may strongly influence our future and flagging future years that may be difficult in order to prepare or correct for them is an advantage of face reading.

Prices vary according to how many persons are being read and if you would like to add a face reading lesson.

1) Individual Face Reading via Zoom online

Individual face readings are:

• 30 minutes for $90

• 60 minutes for $180

• 90 minutes for $270

The 30 minute option is a good general overview but most people doing a first time session find that one hour covers all their major questions, the 90 minute is good for extensive questions, if you would like to have other pictures of faces read and any emotional trauma release or finding path or purpose (such as when people feel stuck, before entering college, or after major life shift such as divorce or trauma).

2) Group Face Reading via Zoom online

Group face reading is a set of readings done for a group of up to 5 persons in an hour. Those that are interested in learning about face reading get the opportunity to see what other facial types represent. This is a popular option for parties, get togethers, family activities or girls night out. The readings are done online in a Zoom meeting. The cost is $225 per hour up to 5 persons an hour.

3) Couple’s Face Reading via Zoom online

Face reading has a long history of use in marriage and matchmaking. Interpreting a couple’s faces lends to better understanding of communication styles, how the two persons get along (or don’t get along) opens pathways for greater understanding and emotional healing. General personality analysis also included for each person. Cost is $225 per couple for an hour.

How do I prepare for a face reading?

In preparation:

At least 48 hours before a face reading session please email or text 2 close up pictures of your face without makeup in natural light facing forward with ears visible.  One picture should be smiling and the other with a neutral expression.  At your face reading you should not wear any makeup; your natural facial features and details are important to an accurate facial reading.  Please avoid any facial treatments that will discolor, disfigure or inflame your skin prior to your session. 

To get the most out of your session:

Have questions ready or topics that you would like to inquire about (see How Chinese Face Reading can help me).  Have any pictures of others you would like read easily accessible on your phone or as a hard copy. 

What happens in a session?

I look over the photos you sent and compare my notes to how your face looks in person (to accommodate inaccuracies in dimensions of facial features in photos).  I explain a little bit about facial reading and ask about what questions you have for the reading.   Afterwards, I pinpoint areas that have certain meanings, address the questions that the face reading can answer and show you the facial features that you can read yourself to track your well-being. 

Unlike lab reports where one person discusses what is being evaluated, a face reading is interactive.  I can tell you where the details point to certain significant timeframes, energy shifts and changes in life but you have the story attached to that time or situation that will help flesh out the life detail we are addressing and can help sleuth out the significant information.

I will let you know when you have 5 mins remaining in the session to allow for any additional questions. 

Sessions can be done individually, in couples, in groups and in families.  This is a popular team building exercise, date night, bridal party and reunion activity. Other creative applications other clients of mine have used face reading for is:

·      if adopted finding out more about biological family whose pictures they have

·      hiring staff like nannies, babysitters, accountants etc.

·      best combinations for work team members

·      understanding the progression of a divorce or separation (requires photos through the length of the relationship)

·       to get a lead on medical mysteries or diseases of unknown etiology
